HM1 to HM2 Importing Issues

If you have any discrepancies* after importing your HM1 database to HM2 please try the following steps to correct any missing hands or inaccurate results:

Try to import the original hand histories from your HM1 Archive.  All original hands and tournament summaries that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).
If you continue to have problems with missing hands try to export your hands from your HM1 database and then import those exported files/hands to your HM2 database.
*If your hand counts match but the Net Won values are different, and your database includes both USD and Non-USD currency games, you may need to add a new stat to the reports with the problem.  HM1 uses Net Won in the reports and HM2 uses Net Won USD by default.  Click the Stats button in the HM2 Reports and click the 'WinningsAndRake' category in the 'Available Statistics:' middle column then double-click the '$ - Total amount won' stat to add it to the 'Included Statistics:' column and use the up/down arrows to move up next to the 'Net Won USD' stat.
If you still have inaccurate hand counts or results:
Please create a backup of your current HM2 database's [X] Player Notes, [X] Hand Markings, [X] Rakeback and [X] Bonuses Configuration Files and make sure you select the [X] Skip database option.
Create a new HM2 database and import the original hands from step 1 and the exported hands from step 2 in the first section of instructions above.
Restore the backup file from step 2 in this section of instructions and choose the [X] Player Notes, [X] Hand Markings, [X] Rakeback and [X] Bonuses Configuration Files options and make sure you select the [X] Skip database option.
If you continue to have problems please create a backup of your HM1 database and email the HM1 database backup file, original hand histories from the HM1 archive folder nd screen shots of the HM12 discrepancies to hm2support@holdemmanager.com**
**When sending any hand history files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email.  If the attachment is too big to attach to an email please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox or filedropper and send us the download link.
