How are emailed hands imported into Holdem Manager?

Poker Sites can send Hand Histories as an attachment or in the body of an email. See below for directions on both.
If you received Hand Histories as an attachment through email, follow these steps to import them into Holdem Manager:
- Unzip the files to the desktop. Note this location.
- Open Holdem Manager --> Options --> Hand Importing -->Import from File
- Navigate to the location of the hand histories (desktop)
- Import the hand history files into Holdem Manager
Note: If the import failed, please try downloading Notepad++ and trying the steps above again.
Hand Histories in Body of Email

- On the computer desktop --> right click --> select new text document
- Copy / Paste the body of the email into the Notepad file.
- Save the file in any name as a .txt file and remember the saved location
- Open Holdem Manager --> Options --> Hand Importing --> Import from File
- Import the saved .txt file into Holdem Manager
Note: If the import failed, please try downloading Notepad++ and trying the steps above again.
